Robbinsdale Cooper Students Perform Tres Bien on National French Contest

On May 16, winners of Le Grand Concours – the National French Contest - from around the state of Minnesota were honored at the University of Minnesota. There were three state winners from Robbinsale Cooper High School: Brennan Haelig, Svenja Jueptner and Anna Meyer. Brennan was also a national winner, receiving a bronze medal, based on the score he received on the highest level exam for high school, which is a Level 5A. Robbinsdale Cooper High School is one of only 30 schools in the state of Minnesota which participate in LeGrand Concours, and these 30 schools include middle schools and private schools. Le Grand Concours is an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students of French in grades 1-12, in all 50 states and abroad, take a written test and compete against students with similar backgrounds.
