Only Hmong Episcopal Priest to be Ordained at Breck

The Breck School Chapel will be the site of a historic occasion Thursday evening. At 7 p.m., Toua Vang will become the only ordained Hmong Episcopal priest in the world.
The St. Paul resident endured war and famine in Laos before living for years as a refugee in Thailand, according to the Pioneer Press.
Vang was one of hundreds of Hmong who attended the Church of the Holy Apostles. He developed into a leader there then attended Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, VA.
