ReplyBrian, I hadn't heard of a .327 either, but it is a round Ruger and Federal came out with several years ago. From what I've read on it, it's supposed to hit harder than a .38 Special with less recoil than a .357 Magnum. The SPD Incident report listed it as a Taurus model 8165.
