Patch.com is a homecoming of sorts for Delane Cleveland. He was born and raised in Minneapolis, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in journalism in 2004. After graduation, he left Minnesota to become a reporter/weekend news anchor at KOTA-TV in Rapid City, SD. After spending two years reporting on tourism, state legislative issues and the Rapid City common council, Delane thought it was time to move on to a warmer climate. In 2007, he moved to Tucson, AZ and took a reporting job with KMSB-TV. While in Tucson, Delane reported on immigration issues, politics and was the Tucson City Council beat reporter. After three years in Southern Arizona, he felt it was time to move back to Minnesota. Now, he's excited to be back home reporting on news and events for Patch.
