Want a Valentine's Day Wedding? Hennepin 4th District Judges Will Do It Free
The services are being conducted to acknowledge people dedicated to public safety, but if time and space permit, county “civilian” couples will be married as well.
The following was released by Hennepin County: The Hennepin County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution allowing Hennepin County 4th Judicial District Court judges to conduct free marriage ceremonies on Valentine’s Day on the Hennepin County Government Center Public Service Level. The services are being conducted to acknowledge people dedicated to public safety. Priority will be given to military (active duty, reserve, National Guard and veterans) and first responder (police, fire, EMT, sheriff’s deputies) couples. If time and space permit, county “civilian” couples as well.
