Public Hearing: Share Your Opinion on New Apartment Construction

At 7 p.m. tonight, the Golden Valley City Council will host a public hearing about the possible construction of The Tiburon Apartments.

On Sept. 11, the Golden Valley Planning Commission approved preliminary plans for the construction of an apartment building in between Highway 55 and Golden Valley Road. At their Oct. 16 meeting, the Golden Valley City Council will review the planning commission recommendation, which includes a motion to approve the preliminary plat. At 7 p.m., the council will also host a public hearing where residents can voice concerns or opinions about the project. If constructed, The Tiburon Apartments would consist of 142 units, according to council documents. The building would be six stories tall and sit on 2.7 acres of land.
