Passionate writers tap into their creativity with the help of a professional author.
Enthusiastic writers of all ages explored poetry in a writing workshop at the Golden Valley Library on Tuesday evening. Professional freelance writer Dhana-Marie Branton led the hour-long session. She explained how to express thoughts by writing freely and speaking out loud. It was the very first writing workshop Ken Rolf, a retired senior, has ever attended. "I felt this was important for me because learning to communicate well is so important in life," he said. Lauren Langham, 16, who has published poetry, came to the library to gain more insight and inspiration.
