Hopkins Girls Soccer A 0-0 tie at No. 3-ranked Edina got the Lake Conference schedule started for the Hopkins girls soccer team on Tuesday. The deadlock gave the Royals a 2-1-1 record. It was the second of three consecutive games for the squad against ranked teams, the final contest of the stretch comes on Thursday, when Hopkins hosts No. 7 Eden Prairie at 5 p.m. Jillaine Young leads the Royals with two goals on the season, with Cody Webster, Corbin Boyd, Paris Ebersviller and Leah Chase also netting goals so far this autumn.
