SWAT Team, State Patrol Training in Golden Valley
If you see a lot of police activity this week, don't be alarmed.
The West Metro SWAT Team, in conjunction with the Minnesota State Patrol, will conduct a training exercise Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 6:30 to 10 p.m., in the area of Golden Valley Fire Station #3 (3900 Golden Valley Road) and also areas in Theodore Wirth Park. During this time, you may see an increased police presence, including SWAT vehicles and the State Patrol helicopter. Information provided by the City of Golden Valley.
