Obituary: Ramona "Mona" Berghoff of New Hope
Service is Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at The Church of St. Raphael in Crystal. Berghoff was an employee of District 281 for more than 16 years.
Ramona "Mona" Berghoff of New Hope Dec. 4, 1930 - Feb. 2, 2013 Passed away surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Ramona was a kind and gentle soul with a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She loved life and took joy in the simple pleasures. She loved to travel and saw most of the 50 United States with Dick, her husband of 54 years. Mona (or Gramma B to her grandchildren) had a passion for card games and especially appreciated the chance it allowed to engage in good times with family and friends. Above all, she loved her family who held her close during her final days. Mona worked for School District 281 for over 16 years.
