Owner of Robbinsdale Tax Business Indicted for Preparing False Tax Returns

A local man is facing up to 34 years in prison for preparing false income tax returns from 2007 to 2010, according to a recent U.S. Department of Justice press release. Solomon Frank-Sawari, owner of Merit Tax Service in Robbindsale and Capitol Income Tax in Minneapolis, was charged on Monday, Jan. 28, with nine counts of preparing false income tax returns and one count of aggravated identity theft. He’s being indicted with one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States.
