Suspect Charged, Officer Identified in Gas Station Shooting
A 38-year-old man faces four charges, including two counts of first-degree aggravated robbery, after police say he took two cars and assaulted three people last week.
In a press release Monday, Dec. 17, Crystal Police Chief Stephanie Fealy confirmed that Jerry Krob was the Crystal police officer involved in last Friday's shooting at a New Hope Holiday gas station. "Officer Krob is a professional, well trained veteran of this department with several commendations," Fealy said in the statement. " I am confident that this investigation will determine that our officer acted in accordance with department policy and it will be determined that this was justified use of force." At about 6 a.m. on Dec. 14, New Hope police responded to a report of a shooting at the gas station.
