Golden Valley House Fire Under Investigation

A house fire on Glenwood Parkway on Tuesday is under investigation.

Golden Valley fire fighters responded to a house fire on the 1900 block of Glenwood Parkway on Tuesday afternoon.  According to Golden Valley Fire Chief Mark Kuhnly, the fire was contained to one room, but much of the house has smoke damage. Kuhnly says they are working with the insurance company to access the cost of the property damage. There is no visible damage to the outside of the home. While the fire was quickly controlled, Robbinsdale, St. Louis Park, Minnetonka, Brooklyn Center, Hopkins, Eden Prairie and Rogers were called to help. No one was inside the home when the fire broke out. The fire is still under investigation.
