Fingerprint Match, Strangulations and Man Threatens Officers: West Metro Police and Fire Reports

This week's selections include a man accused of punching his girlfriend in the face, disorderly conduct in Target, fires, stalking and Craigslist issues.

Siblings Arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Assault

Police received numerous loud music complaints about the home on Independence Avenue where two brothers were arrested for fighting.

A little before 3 a.m. on Sept. 26, Golden Valley Police were called to a home on the 1800 block of Independence Avenue due to complaints of loud music and a possible fight. When police arrived, they arrested two siblings due to a physical altercation. Golden Valley Crime Analyst Joanne Paul said that neighbors have called police about loud music coming from the home in the past. One brother was arrested for second-degree aggravated assault, and the other was arrested for disorderly conduct.
