Store in Wilmington, NC is SUCKS! Smart-ass little girls deciding what is "worthy" of their store. My daughters have taken good condition clothing, some never worn, from Pac-Sun, Aeropostale, etc., only to have their clothing tossed back at them, saying they're not taking that kind (skinny jeans, tank tops), they're too worn (jeans sold with worn areas and tears already!), or we don't take that brand. The store had a sign posted in the window stating they were looking for SKINNY JEANS and TANK TOPS! They refused size 11 jeans saying they were "too big and we're not taking that size" when there was a whole section of that size in the store (not everyone is a size 0!). They refused a pair of shoes in excellent condition but there was a "foot imprint" inside, when they were selling a pair of shoes that didn't even have the foot pad inside the shoe!!! Plato's Closet has clothing with stains on the racks to be sold, has clothing from Target and Walmart, and refuses high-quality, gently-used clothing. My daughters have been told their clothing was "out of style," when skinny jeans have been in style for years and still are! What the hell kind of business is being run here? My daughter told me today they took all the clothing from the customer in front of her (Wrangler jeans and Jersey sweatshirts sold at Walmart) after barely looking at them, and refused EVERYTHING she brought in! I'm sure this message will be ignored but we will NEVER patronize PC again! PC WILM SUCKS!

Tonight I went to the 4107 Portsmouth Blvd. Chesapeake Plato's Closet. I brought A LOT of VERY POPULAR WELL KNOWN CLOTHING BRANDS. such as RVCA, Fatal, Sullen, Hurley, SRH, Fox Racing, Famous Stars and Straps, 59 fifty, Volcom and Vans products, just to name a few. The items I brought in included hats, T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, coats and shoes. THE WELL RESPECTED CLOTHING BRANDS I brought to sell are WELL WORTH $300 to $500 Together AT THE LEAST! some barely worn, and some NEVER worn. A majority of the items are EXCLUSIVE MERCHANDISE that CAN NOT be bought at ANY local store or mall in this ENTIRE AREA! I CONSTANTLY have people ask me where I purchase my clothing from. When your RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL employees finished looking threw the Gigantic Selection you should be Thankful I even brought to your Pathetic Overrated Thrift Store. I Laughed when they gave me back 60 % of the products I offered. Seriously!? Your Stores is full of Faded Beavis & Butt-Head, The Simpsons, Smiley face shirts w/ cheesy sayings on them? The Hat selections, have sweat and skin you can see around the inside rim, who knows, dandruff or even Lice? I thought your company sold Popular Name Brand products?? I wasted my time and got Ripped off. Those unprofessional so called employees of yours that help you loose profits by stocking your shelves with clothes I can find at Wal-Mart while you pay them. So Thanks for Ripping Me Off. The clothes I did sell, Worth $150 or More..I got $30 for them. YOU SUCK!!!

8/12/12 i went to the store in ridgeland ms. i had received a pair of jeans that were too small & needed to exchange them. when i got to the counter, the nice little girl who helped me asked how she could help. i told her that i had received them as a gift & needed to exchange. she asks a coworker if that was ok. the salesman says that i can exchange for something else or i can go to the 3rd reg. to get a store credit. i browse through some things & found some things that i was going to get as well as my exchange. when i got to the check out another nice lady asked if i was ready to be checked out. i tell her that i had some jeans that i needed to exchange. another lady comes up & asked which ones.. I tell her the Buckle ones. she asked me for a receipt. i then tell her that it was a gift & that i did not have a receipt for them being that it was a gift. she rudely tells me, you cant exchange without a receipt. we cant do it without one. i explained my story again to her. she was no way willing to help me, nor would she even try to get a manager. i left my items to be purchased there & i took my jeans to be exchanged with me & told the lady to have a good day because not only did she greet me as i came to the counter she didnt apologize nor did she tell me to have a good day. i called & asked for a mgr, low & behold it was her to answer rudely & wouldnt give me the corporate number because being locally owned, there is no corporate office & she was the manager of that store.

I went to sell some clothes today at the Rockford IL store and because they weren't Areopostal or Amber Crombie n Fitch they weren't any use to them. Well as far as I knew Old Navy was a good clothing company. That is what most of the clothes were. So the sales lady told me that my clothes were no good. Plus they couldn't use them at all and passed me my bag back with a nasty smile on her face. While I was there I looked around a bit and the some of the clothes there had a few rips in them and they smelled musty. So lets just say I will never go in that store again and I will tell all my friends to not go there.
