Royal British Car Show, 'You Betcha' Festival and an ArtCrawl This Weekend

Plenty of events this weekend to keep you busy. Here's a few:

• Like cars? Or maybe you look like the 60s model Twiggy? Then check out the free event 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Jaguar/Land Rover of Minneapoils on Wayzata Blvd in Golden Valley. Drive your classic British car or come get a close-up look at a wide selection of vintage cars. There will also be a live Irish band, period dress up, photos with cars, free food, ice cream and a raffle as well as a Twiggy look-alike contest with $100 gift cards to Via’s Vintage and Brits Pub. 

• You Betcha! Minnesota-Made Festival!  is all day Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Shops of West End in nearby St. Louis Park. A loon calling contest, concerts, entertainment and more will be happening from 12:30 to 11: 30 p.m. 

• Enjoy the unique sights and sounds of the Art Crawl Through the Gardens all weekend, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska. The event features a wide variety of works displayed by talented artists who will be on hand to meet with visitors and sell their arts and crafts.
