Pet of the Week: Give Gizmo a Place to Call Home!

For those of you looking to adopt a kitten or cat, you’re in luck!

In honor of June’s Adopt-a-Cat month, we are featuring a beautiful and friendly cat named Gizmo.

This week’s cat has a calm demeanor and is very expressive with her warm and loving eyes. Also, as a lap kitty, she absolutely loves having her long fur brushed.

Gizmo gets along with other animals but is highly sensitive around children. She was brought to the because she was unable to tolerate rough play from a child in her previous home. We’re recommending that Gizmo’s new home be one with only adults, or children over the age of eight.

At 15 pounds Gizmo is considered a little overweight, so a healthy diet and an active lifestyle would be best for her to maintain a healthy and balanced life!
