What's Happening This July in Golden Valley?

We're nearing the halfway point of summer, so what's some more fun coming up this month?

Here's some events and activities happening in the next month in Golden Valley:

• The Golden Valley Puppet Wagon will continue each Tuesday through July 25 at the following parks and times: 1:30 p.m. at Schied Park, 2 p.m. at Geary Park, 2:30 p.m. at Hampshire Park, 3 p.m. at Wesley Park and 3:30 p.m. at Lions Park.


• 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Friday, July 26--Penny Carnival, at Brookview Park. Enjoy carnival games, balloons, a dunk tank, puppet shows, hay rides, popcorn and more. Parents will need to provide transportation to and from the park. All activities are range from 3 cents to 5 cents so just bring pennies!

• Concerts in the Park,7 p.m. Mondays in July at Brookview Park--Rum River Brass on July 8; Robbinsdale City Band on Thursday, July 11; John Philip Sousa Band on July 15 and Stompin’ Dixie on July 22.
