Tri-Loppet Needs Volunteers This Weekend

Tri-Loppet needs volunteers for the race this Saturday. The event includes an 8K paddle, a 5K run and an 11K bike ride.

The UCare City of Lakes is a different type of triathlon. Paddle the Minneapolis’ Chain of Lakes, trail run through Theodore Wirth Park and mountain bike a mix of Minneapolis trails – truly something for everyone. The race begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 23 at Lake Calhoun. The finish line is at the newly renovated Wirth Beach.

The Tri-Loppet attracts over 500 youth and adult competitors. We couldn’t host the event without the support of the amazing volunteers. Open roles include:

• Race course set up the evening of Friday, June 22
• Race course final touches the morning of Saturday, June 23
• Aid Station 2 at the corner of Theodore Wirth and Glenwood
• Run Course Marshal
• Bike Course Marshal
