A 90-48 win at Minneapolis Patrick Henry boosted the Hopkins boys basketball team to 18-1 on the season.
The Royals cruised to victory after posting a 53-22 lead at halftime en route to the 42-point win with Marvin Singleton logging 13 points, with Joe Coleman, Andre McDonald, Zach Stahl and Nicholas Jorgensen each chipping in 12 points apiece.
Hopkins hosts Edina at 7 p.m. Friday night.
Breck Boys Hockey: Mustangs 13, St. Paul Como Park 0
The Breck boys hockey team scored in double digits for the sixth time this season in a 13-0 win at St. Paul Como Park.
Andrew Headrick scored three goals, with Conor Andrle, Grant Opperman and Max Oppenheimer each posting two goals and Jack O'Connor, Ben Tegtmeyer, Matt Colford and Wesley Iverson all lighting the lamp once in the lopsided win.
Breck, now 14-8 overall and 11-1 in Tri-Metro Conference play, travels to Faribault for a non-conference matchup on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
