Robbinsdale Armstrong Golfers Finishes Day 1 At State Golf

A pair of Falcons golfers competed in the first day of the Class AAA state meet at Bunker Hills

A pair of Robbinsdale Armstrong golfers finished the first round of the Class AAA state tournament on Tuesday at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids.

Junior Michael Greenberg is tied with 10 other golfers in 11th place after 18 holes in the boys tournament. His first-round score of 74 is four shots off the pace. Forest Lake’s Max Kelly currently sits alone in fist with a round of 70.

On the girls side, Armstrong senior Lauren Johnson finished the first day tied for 45th place. She shot a 90 on the day, and leads New Prague freshman McKenzie Neisen, who leads the tournament with a 71, by 19 strokes.
