Hopkins' Joey Brettinger scored an inside-the-park home run to spark a 15-5 victory over Robbinsdale Armstrong in Tuesday's Section 6AAA playoff game at Parade Stadium.

Brettinger's homer was one of  eight runs by Hopkins in the fifth inning.  Hopkins would go on to beat Armstrong by the 10- run rule.

Top-seeded Armstrong (16-7) had seven hits and no errors during the contest, played during 100 degree temperatures.  Hopkins wound up with 14 hits and one error.
