An 11-6 defeat of Spring Lake Park on Thursday improved the Robbinsdale Cooper girls lacrosse team to 1-9 on the season.

Armstrong Boys Lacrosse: Falcons 16, Elk River 2

The Robbinsdale Armstrong boys lacrosse team crushed Northwest Suburban Conference competitor Elk River, 16-2, on Wednesday to improve to 8-3 overall and 6-2 in the circuit.

Kevin Langerud and Robert Stokka each scored five goals apiece to lead the Falcons to the lopsided victory.

Armstrong Girls Lacrosse: Falcons 11, Elk River 10

With a narrow 11-10 defeat of visiting conference rival Elk River, the Robbinsdale Armstrong girls lacrosse team improved to 6-4 this year. 

Paige duerksen scored a game-high five goals, with Haylie Hatton netting three tallies to lead the Falcons to victory.

The Robbinsdale Armstrong baseball team topped Park Center, 5-1, in a Northwest Suburban game on Wednesday to improve to 10-4 on the spring. Individual statistics were not available.

Benilde-St. Margaret's Boys Lacrosse: Red Knights Improve to 10-0

A 12-2 defeat of Totino-Grace on Wednesday combined with a 13-5 besting of Wayzata on Thursday improved the Benilde-St. Margaret's boys lacrosse team to 10-0 on the season.

Will Hoesley leads the Red Knights with 39 points, with Christian Horn chipping in 31 points. BSM is 3-0 in North Suburban match-ups.

Benilde-St. Margaret's Girls Lacrosse: Minnehaha Academy 13, Red Knights 10

The Benilde-St. Margaret's girls lacrosse team lost 13-10 to Minnehaha Academy in south Minneapolis on Thursday night. 

Individual statistics from the game were not available. The Red Knights fell to 4-4 on the spring with the defeat.

Greg Zeman drove in five runs to lead the Benilde-St. Margaret's baseball team to a 7-6 defeat of visiting Edina on Thursday night.

Red Knights relief pitcher Scott Quinby earned the victory after taking over for starter Marcus Barone, with Jimmy Heck earning the save.

BSM improved to 11-4 with the win and is 9-2 in the North Suburban.

Hopkins Softball: Royals 10, Wayzata 8

Haley Nybo went 3-for-4 at the plate with two home runs and three RBI as Hopkins was able to overcome host Wayzata, 10-8, in Lake Conference softball on Wednesday. Nybo also pitched a complete game for the victory.

The Royals, clinched outright possession of the conference title with its ninth Lake win against no defeats and improved to 14-2 overall with the triumph.

Hopkins Boys Lacrosse: Eden Prairie 14, Royals 1

Brandon Schlager scored the only goal for the home side as the Hopkins boys lacrosse team fell to visiting Lake Conference rival Eden Prairie, 14-1, on Thursday to fall to 4-7 overall and 0-6 in the circuit.

Hopkins Girls Lacrosse: Eden Prairie 21, Royals 4

The Hopkins girls lacrosse team dropped to 2-9 on the season with a 21-4 loss to visiting Eden Prairie on Thursday. Individual results were not available.

Hopkins Boys Golf: Edina 210, Royals 219

Edina defeated the Hopkins boys golf team, 210-219, in a Lake dual meet at Oak Ridge Country Club on Thursday. Individual scores were not available.

Breck Boys Lacrosse: Mustangs 8, Burnsville 6

The Breck boys lacrosse team defeated non-conference opponent Burnsville, 8-6, on Thrusday to improve to 3-6 on the season.

David Husband scored three goals and Steven Kiesel netted two tallies to lead the Mustangs to the win.

Breck Softball: Mustangs Fall To 4-11

Losses of 11-4 to Concordia Academy on Wednesday and 14-1 to Minnehaha Academy on Thursday dropped the Breck softball team to 4-11 overall and 2-10 in the Tri-Metro Conference.

Kate Schipper leads the Mustangs with a .523 batting average and 20 RBI.
