Former Hopkins Basketball Star Named Player of the Week

Siyani Chambers' success is continuing into his sophomore year at Harvard.

One-time Hopkins basketball star Siyani Chambers is continuing his run as a standout Harvard player into his sophomore year.

On Monday, Chambers was selected as the Ivy League Player of the Week after he led the Crimson to a win over Vermont on Saturday. Chambers tallied a career high 27 points—hitting 9-for-10 from the floor, including 6-for-6 on 3-pointers.

That performance follows an impressive freshman season in which Chambers won six rookie of the week awards and was unanimously chosen as the Ivy League Rookie of the Year and a first-team All-Ivy pick.
