Chester Bird American Legion Post 523 of Golden Valley took on Edina American Legion Post 471 Saturday night during the Edina Invitational Tournament at Braemar Baseball Complex in Edina.

Edina defeated Chester Bird 15-3 in the matchup, then went on to defeat Burnsville 4-0 on Sunday. The tournament was shortened due to rain forcing all Friday games to be postponed, so no championship game took place on Sunday.

Chester Bird finished the tournament with a 12-0 win over Maple Plain. The Birds (12-16) will begin district tournament play this week.
