Breck Takes 6th At True Team State Swim Meet

The Mustangs finished with 1,500 points, but Hutchinson won the title

The girls swimming and diving team finished up the True Team season with a sixth place finish at the state meet Thursday in Minneapolis.

The Mustangs scored 1,500 points on the night. Hutchinson won the meet for the first time since 2009 with a 2,073.5 performance, edging Visitation by 69 points after the two teams were tied with two events to go.

The Mustangs’ top performers were Abby Erdmann taking first in the 500 freestyle and second in the 200 freestyle, Chandra Yueh taking first in the 100 freestyle and second in the 50 freestyle, Maddy Holker taking third in the 200 IM and the 400 freestyle relay (Erdmann, Holker, Georgia Keller, Yueh) taking fourth.
