Armstrong, Cooper Football Fall In Section Play
The Hawks, Falcons both bow out of Section 5AAAAA play
The football team lost to Champlin Park by a 41-18 margin on Tuesday in the Section 5AAAAA quarterfinal.
Champlin Park advanced to face top-seeded Wayzata in the section semifinals on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
The Hawks fell behiind 28-0 in the third quarter before Cooper found the endzone for the first time. Billy Kellogg scored from one yard out to cut the lead to 28-6.

Cooper scored again to start the fourth, a two-yard run by Kellogg cut the lead to 28-12. An unsuccessful two-point conversion kept the lead at 16 points.
After Champlin Park scored again, Bricon Scott-Burch scored on a 30-yard touchdown run to cut the lead to 35-18. Champlin Park would score once more to end the game, making it 41-18.

Armstrong’s season ends at Osseo
The football team lost to Osseo by a 34-0 margin on Tuesday in the Section 5AAAAA quarterfinal in Osseo.
Osseo advanced to face Maple Grove in the section semifinals on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
Osseo took a 13-0 lead after the first quarter, then added six more points to take a 19-0 lead heading into halftime. A 15-point third quarter ended the scoring for the evening.
