Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion Gets New Principal

The Robbinsdale School District has named a new principal to head up Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion school, according to the Sun Post.

Elaine Mehdizadeh comes to the district from the Eagan schools, where she was principal of Rahn Elementary School of Arts and Technology. She began her career as an ESL and kindergarten teacher, and has been a teacher or administrator for 28 years.

“I love magnet schools,” she said told the Sun Post. “I believe that adding that extra layer of learning is so amazing for kids.”

“She’s just a very successful principal with a long history of success,” Robbinsdale Area Schools Superintendent Aldo Sicoli said.
