Continuing a tradition, now in its second decade, of showcasing great arts programs, Robbinsdale Area Schools is once again holding its Fall Strings Festival on November 15th, at 7:00 p.m. at   Every year, the district’s fourth and fifth grade orchestra students showcase their talents at a district-wide concert, giving them the chance to perform together.  The concert also features the 281 Honors Orchestra.

Robbinsdale Area Schools offers orchestra beginning in fourth grade at all its elementary schools, and the district firmly believes in the benefits that music education provides to its younger students.  Families and community members are encouraged to attend this free concert, to see how many students are benefitting from the opportunity to learn a string instrument at a young age.  Beginning students can show the audience what they have been learning, and they can also see what they have to look forward to as they listen to the Honors Orchestra play.
