Robbinsdale Adult Academic Program Receives Award

MNSCU award given to Adult Academic Program at Robbinsdale Areas Schools.

Editor's Note: The following content was provided by the Robbinsdale School District.

The West Metro Pathway to Health Careers – FastTRAC program, of which Robbinsdale Area Schools Adult Academic Program (AAP) is part, has been selected to receive the 2012 Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Academic and Student Affairs award for Innovative Partnering and Collaboration.

AAP partners with Hennepin Technical College, HIRED, and four other adult basic education programs in the west metro region. The partnership was the result of a FastTrac grant to help adult basic education students transition to and be successful in college certification studies, which then would prepare them for gainful employment or further college studies. Awards were selected by peer Academic and Student Affaris campus and system administrators based on criteria, such as effective use of technology and student achievement.
