Hopkins Junior Aces ACT

Estelle Bayer scored a perfect 36 on the college admissions test.

Hopkins High School junior Estelle Bayer won’t be sweating admissions tests as she applies for college.

Bayer found out in December that she scored a perfect 36 on the ACT in her first time taking the test.

“I felt pretty good about it coming out of it,” a school district news release quoted her. “There was one math question that I wasn’t sure about, but the rest of the exam felt pretty good.”

Bayer isn’t taking it easy in the wake of her accomplishment, though. She’s taking Advanced Placement Chemistry and AP European History and plans to take two more advanced courses this year.

She’s also an avid reader, a member of Hopkins High School’s theater program, a singer with the Bel Canto chorus group and a member of the high school’s strings symphony orchestra.

Bayer hasn’t settled on a college yet, but many are already seeking her.

“It’s hard to avoid as I’ve gotten about 30 emails in the past three days,” the release quoted her.
