Hopkins Choir Students to Perform With Paramore

The students will help the band perform its new single 'Ain't It Fun.'

Hopkins High School choir students will step onto a high-profile stage Nov. 23.

Twenty students will perform with the Grammy award-winning band Paramore at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul as part of the band’s U.S. tour, the school district announced Friday.

Hopkins was one of 100 schools to be recognized as a Grammy Signature School Semifinalist. Paramore is partnering with the Grammy Foundation to bring students on-stage during its tour, according to the foundation. The selected choirs will also receive a grant for their school's music program.

Choir director Philip Brown selected the top students from the Concert Choir to perform with the band. The students will help the band perform its new single "Ain't It Fun." Afterward, they’ll be able to watch the rest of the concert.

The concert takes place at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 23. Tickets start at $39 and are available for purchase online.
