Golden Valley Students Make Dean's List

The number of Golden Valley students making the Dean's List is piling up. Check out this impressive list of local kids that have earned a 3.5 or higher in college. Several graduates are also listed below.

• Luther junior Lilja Amundson of Golden Valley was named to Luther's Dean's List.
• Luther sophomore Peter Jarzyna of Golden Valley was named to Luther's Dean's List.
• Luther senior Tyler Van Heest of Golden Valley was named to Luther's Dean's List.

Upper Iowa Universtiy

• Upper Iowa University named Jessica Dickhaus of Golden Valley to its 2012 Spring Dean's List.

University of Wisconsin-River Falls

• University of Wisconsin-River Falls named Martin Gjernes from Golden Valley to its Dead's List. Gjernes is majoring in Business Administration.

Concordia University

• Concordia University named Dylan Enderlein of Golden Valley to its Dean's List. Enderlein is a senior majoring in Marketing.
• Concordia University named Kevin Koester of Golden Valley to its Dean's List. Koester is a sophomore majoring in Theology.

Augustana College

• Augustana College announced that Anastasya Knyazeva of Golden Valley has been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2011-2012 academic year.

Gettysburg College

• Ross Nichols of Golden Valley has been placed on the Gettysburg College Dean's Honor list for outstanding academic achievement in Spring 2012.

Beloit College

• Beloit College named David Dunder, of Golden Valley to the Dean’s List.

Creighton University

• Creighton University named Colin Dale of Golden Valley to the Dean's List. Dale is a sophomore College of Arts and Sciences student.

Cornell College

• Joseph Harrity of Golden Valley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Individualized: Population, Environment, Social Welfare from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa.

University of Wisconsin-Stout

• Laura Butterfield of Golden Valley received a B.A. Psychology.
• Marie Carlson of Golden Valley received a B.S. Vocational Rehabilitation

Beloit College

• David Dunder of Golden Valley graduated from Beloit College with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish.

Whitman College

• Kyla Flaten from Golden Valley graduated from Whitman College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology-Environmental Studies from Whitman College.

Dartmouth University

• Justin David Samuels graduated from Dartmouth University with a Bachelors degree in science and the arts.
