NEW CHAPTER OF MOTHERS & MORE WELCOMES ALL MOTHERS TO JUNE MEETING ON CHILDREN'S HEALTH!

The Twin Cities West Chapter of Mothers & More will hold its June meeting and informational session on June 7, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Plymouth library.  Attendance is open to the public and all interested in learning more about the organization are welcome.

At this meeting, Dr. Ashley Flemmer, D.C., will be speaking on the topic "Children's Health: Building a Healthy Base for Children to Grow On."  Every parent’s goal is for their children to be the best they can be, now and into adulthood. Since children can’t be at their best when their health is sub-par, this class will discuss what children need for optimal health and simple ways to change less-than-healthy habits so you can give your children the healthy base they need to grow into healthy and successful adults.

A non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education, and advocacy, the Twin Cities West Chapter of Mothers & More features monthly meetings on topics that interest all mothers, as well as Mom’s Night Out, children’s activities, and MORE!

Mothers & More provides opportunities for mothers to re-connect with themselves, to connect with other mothers, and to connect with the world.  The organization is committed to creating a place for mothers to feel a part of a larger community of women who are experiencing the same challenges that all mothers face, not only in raising children, but also in fulfilling their sense of self, and understanding society’s often mistaken assumptions about them.  To learn more, visit www.mothersandmore.org.
