High School Information Night for Robbinsdale Area Schools

Families of current eighth graders in the seven communities that Robbinsdale Area Schools serves are encouraged to attend Family Preview Night.

The Family Preview Night is the first in a two-part informational session designed to improve the transition to high school, or to find out more about Robbinsdale’s high schools. The second evening will be a Family Registration Night, which will be held at both Armstrong and Cooper on
Thursday, January 12th at 7 p.m. Families of current Robbinsdale students or those who are interested in the district are cordially invited to attend.

Armstrong and Cooper offer excellent educational options for high school, and they been ranked as some of the best high schools in the nation. Armstrong offers a full continuum of Advanced Placement (AP) college courses and Cooper is the home to both the International Baccalaureate
Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Years Programme, offered to juniors and seniors. Both options provide an opportunity for high school students to take rigorous course offerings designed to help students become more successful in college. Robbinsdale Area Schools was named a national AP Achievement District in 2010, one of fewer than 400 districts nationwide to receive that prestigious honor. As well, both Armstrong and Cooper offer a wide array of activities and athletics, and Robbinsdale Area Schools is known nationwide for its excellent, comprehensive arts programs.
