Area students, mostly from the Parish Community of St. Joseph's, will fast beginning at 1 p.m. Friday, March 2, and ending at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 3.
During the fast, the students will go door-to-door to collect food donations for . They will drop the donations at PRISM on Saturday morning.
The church also is collecting money for PRISM. Checks and money orders can be sent to the Parish Community of St. Joseph, 8701 36th Ave. N., New Hope, MN 55427.

There is a $25 participation fee for the students who are fasting.
