Robbinsdale Cooper High School presents The Reluctant Dragon and Sid, The Serpent Who Wanted to Sing, two one-act operettas written primarily for children, but audiences of all ages will enjoy the engaging storyline, wonderful music and incredible voices.

In Sid, The Serpent Who Wanted to Sing, Sid is a dancing serpent in a circus, but all he wants to do is sing.  His travels send him all over the world, singing differently and disastrously every time (with hilarious results), until his circus friends tell him to sing in his own style.

In The Reluctant Dragon, a young boy discovers a poetry-loving dragon living above his home.  The two become friends, but the townsfolk discover the dragon and want to rid the town of the beast.  The dragon would rather write poetry than fight.
