Robbinsdale Armstrong High School Named One of the Best in the Nation

Newsweek ranked Robbinsdale Armstrong High School as one of the best high schools in the United States.

Robbinsdale Armstrong High School was ranked by Newsweek as one of the 2,000 best high schools in the United States. This list is based on six components: graduation rate, college acceptance rate, rigorous tests taken per student (such as Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate tests), average scores earned on those rigorous tests, average ACT/SAT scores, and percent of students enrolled in at least one Advanced Placement, Advance International Certificate of Education, or International Baccalaureate course. According to Newsweek, these are the factors proven to be the best indicators of college readiness.

Forty-six Minnesota schools were named to the list. Both Armstrong and Robbinsdale Cooper were recently named to the Washington Post Most Challenging High School list for 2013.
