The 2013 Elections Includes New Voting Machines in Golden Valley
You can check out the new ballot counter machines in the video with this post or in person at Golden Valley City Hall.
Absentee voting began Friday, but those of you who will be visiting the "ballot box" come Election Day this year will see something new.
The city of Golden Valley will have the new DS200 ballot counters. These replace equipment that has been used since 1999 and features digital technology with improved voter amenities. Voters will still complete paper ballots, but will insert them into the new ballot counters.
