Mayor Files For Nov. 8 Election

Loomis first was elected in 2001, and this time is challenged by Harris.

Mayor Linda Loomis has decided to run for another term.

She filed for office Tuesday.

Loomis first was elected mayor in 2001. She also serves as chair of the Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission and sits on the board of People Responding in Social Ministry.

The filing period for mayor and City Council ends at 5 p.m. Aug. 16.
