Other facts

My wife Shannon and I have lived in the Robbinsdale Area School district for 10 years with our two daughters, Sophia (5th grade) and Isabella (3rd grade). I strongly believe in the importance of parental involvement in our schools and in our community. I have enjoyed being involved in various capacities over the years. Some of my activities include: • 2nd term Co-President of the PTO at my children’s school. Previously served as Secretary. • Member of the steering committee for the Robbinsdale Area School Legislative Action Coalition. • Golden Valley Phoenix Soccer league coach for two years. I am running for School Board because I believe public education is one of the key contributors to a strong and diverse community. I believe our administrators, teachers, parents and community and business leaders should work together to make all Robbinsdale Area Schools equally successful. As a member of the school board I will do my best to work towards this end by offering an open and honest approach to being fiscally responsible while ensuring the best resources are available to the students of District 281.
