Golden Valley Residents Invited to Weigh In on Transitway

Residents will have the chance to ask questions and voice concerns about the proposed Bottineau Transitway at three upcoming meetings.

Residents have the opportunity to weigh in on the future of the Bottineau Transitway during three upcoming meetings.

The topic has generated a lot of among city leaders and residents. The Railroad Authority is considering two routes, one of which will take the transitway through Golden Valley.

A fact sheet about the project is provided under the picture.

I would love to see a sensible LRT through Golden Valley some day. I'm afraid that what's being proposed here is not the sensible route I've been hoping for, and further it would deprive many North Minneapolis residents of a useful LRT system which they so desperately need.
