'Bare Bones' Budget Proposed to City Council

No salary increases in 2012 are included.

Golden Valley City Manager Tom Burt said the 2012-13 proposed budget is the toughest one he has ever produced.

“There’s just nothing left,” Burt said. “It’s bare bones.”

The 2012 proposal would decrease the yearly operating budget from 2011 by .26 percent to approximately $14.903 million.
