What kind of arrests are made in the city lately? 

The following arrests were made between July 15-21 in Golden Valley:

• Four for driving with a suspended license

• One for fourth-degree DWI

• One for domestic assault

• Three for shoplifting less than $500 worth of items

• One for driving with an obstruction/cracked windshield

• Seven for driving without proof of insurance

• Three for driving without a valid driver’s license

• One for giving a police officer a false name

• Two for driving with an open bottle of alcohol

• One for shoplifting $500 to $1,000 worth of items

• One for trespassing

• One for driving the wrong way down a street

• Three for driving with a revoked license

• One for exhibition driving

• One for driving too slow/impeding other traffic

• One for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle on the roadside
