UPDATE: No Suspicious Activity in Golden Valley Pond Death

Golden Valley Police say that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a woman who drove her car into a Golden Valley Pond.

Golden Valley Police Chief Stacy Carlson said that officials may never know what near the intersection of Winnetka Avenue and 23rd Avenue North last Thursday.

According to KARE 11, an onlooker saw a submerged car in the water. When first responders arrived, they found the body of a woman in the car.

"It's one of those circumstances where we can't determine why she drove her car into the pond," Carlson said. "There are no suspicious circumstances with this death."
