Two Escape ‘Extensive’ Golden Valley House Fire
The Golden Valley Fire Department said that no injuries were reported.
At about 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, the Golden Valley Fire Department responded to a house fire at the 1300 block of Orkla Avenue North, according to a press release.
In the statement, Fire Chief Mark Kuhnly said that first interior attack crews encountered “extensive fire upon entry.”
The Golden Valley Police Department, Public Works Department and North Memorial provided mutual aid and assistance.
Kuhnly said the the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
