Structure Fire at Apartment Complex in Golden Valley
There were no injuries, but the fire remains under investigation.
According to a Golden Valley Fire Department press release:
On May 16, 2013, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Golden Valley Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 2529 Unity Avenue North, an eight unit townhome complex. Upon arrival there was visible smoke and fire coming from the townhome unit. Three people were inside the townhome where the fire originated and they evacuated without injury. All other occupants in the other townhome units also evacuated safely and were able to return to their homes. No firefighter injuries were reported.
West Metro Fire, St. Louis Park Fire, Robbinsdale Fire, Minnetonka Fire, Plymouth Fire, Golden Valley Police and North Memorial Ambulance provided assistance.

Cause of the fire is under investigation. No dollar loss has been determined.
