Stolen Vehicle, Drug Sales, Smashed Car Windows: Golden Valley Police Blotter

Officers at the Golden Valley Police Department responded to reports of fights, vehicle break-ins, and drug activity between Feb. 5 and 10.
Feb. 5
Police responded to reports of a man walking around Golden Valley’s ACE Hardware and taking “items off the shelves and placing them in his pockets.” The man, who was described as a Latino male, fled the store with a woman before he could be arrested.
Feb. 6
Police received tips that drug activity and possible drug sales was occurring at the 3500 block of Mcnair Drive in Robbinsdale. Police executed a search warrant after “two dirty trash pulls,” and found a “small amount” of marijuana.
Feb. 7
A woman’s wallet was stolen from her purse when she was at D'Amico and Sons.

Police responded to two reports of theft from a motor vehicle at Schuller's Tavern. Incident reports say that a screw driver was used to break two car windows.
A suspect broke into a van at the 600 block of Lilac Drive North and took between $50,000 and $70,000 worth of TV equipment, cameras and cable boxes.
Feb. 8
A license plate was stolen off a car parked at the 1700 block of Lilac Drive North.
A van window was smashed in at the 600 block of Lilac Drive North.
Feb. 9
A Chrysler was stolen from a parking lot at 1710 Douglas Drive North.
Feb. 10
Police responded to reports of a fight at the 200 block of Yosemite Circle North. Police arrested one 27-year-old man on fourth-degree DWI charges and addressed one medical crisis.
