Repeat Golden Valley Offender Arrested for Assault

On Jan. 17 at about 3:15 p.m., police responded to an incident at the 3000 block of Golden Valley Road. According to the most recent Golden Valley arrest report, a 24-year-old Golden Valley man was arrested for domestic assault. But this isn’t the man’s first run-in with the law.

According to Minnesota courts records, the suspect was charged in 2009 with giving a false name and birthdate to a police officer. He was sentenced to 100 days in the Hennepin County Workhouse. Most recently, in August of 2012, he was charged with fifth-degree assault.
