According to the criminal complaint, compiled by Golden Valley Police Officer Ryan Matthew, police were called to the Byerly’s liquor store at 5719 Duluth St. on March 20 on a shoplifting report.

Police were told that Nunn concealed three bottles of liquor worth almost $160 in her spandex shorts. Officers determined that Nunn had positioned the shorts below her waist in a “basket-like fashion” to hold the bottles; they said she pulled the shorts back up to her waist after the bottles were removed.

Nunn smelled strongly of alcohol when she was apprehended, police said.
